The ‘nudge’ concept, that we have incorporated into our psychological services, emerged from the work of the Nobel-Prize winning Economist, Richard H. Thaler; the key idea of 'nudge', that influenced and guided the development of our psychological services, is that people will be more likely to adopt behaviours that promote their well-being and personal effectiveness if the behaviours in question are made easy to acquire and develop.
Nudge psychology enables you, with minimum effort, to acquire & develop the important psychological strengths & skills of effective planning for goal achievement, self-empowerment, resilience, and positive outlook.
The powerful personal development changes that emerge from nudge psychology arise from the fact that it provides fast and relatively easy access to tools and techniques that have emerged from research in Positive Psychology, Sports Psychology, Occupational Psychology, Mindfulness and Neuroscience.
Nudge theory was described and brought to popular attention in the book, 'Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness', (Thaler & Sunstein, 2008), and the 'nudge' concept has been successfully employed by governments worldwide to influence a wide range of behaviours, from paying tax promptly to registering for organ donation.
